MY STORY

Hi! I’m Katelyn Gardner, the Founder of Colorful Crêpes, and my love for crêpes began in the most unexpected place: the Dining Commons at Georgia Southern University.
During my freshman year, I lived for the crêpe station. It was my go-to treat—I kid you not! I would eat crêpes at least twice a day. But when sophomore year came around, my friends and I lost access to the dining commons… which meant no more crêpes.
So, we got creative.
We found a recipe online, watched videos, and tried to mimic the dining hall’s signature spreading technique on our own. It wasn’t perfect at first (definitely had a few flops), but after months of trial and error, we finally nailed it. We were making crêpes that tasted just as good—if not better—than the ones we used to wait in line for.
Over the years, people started telling me, “You should really sell these!” And while I loved the idea, I knew I didn’t want to just blend in with other crêpe businesses. I wanted something bold. Something different.
That’s when it hit me: Make them COLORFUL.
Colorful Crêpes was born from that vision—to turn a classic, elegant dish into something playful, vibrant, and unforgettable. Every crêpe I make is a reflection of creativity, joy, and a little college nostalgia. I’m so excited to share these sweet, eye-catching creations with you—and I hope they make your day a little brighter (and tastier)!
Thanks for being a part of my journey. 💕
With love,
Katelyn Gardner, Founder
